The Rotary Club of Bend is excited to present the second annual barbecue competition in Central Oregon.  This event will combine barbecue teams with Kobe Beef, live music, and cooking demonstrations for the family experience of the year!

 Kobe Beef America is providing briskets and ribs to all barbecue teams to cook onsite with prizes of $3,700 to be awarded for the best barbecues.  Each team will also have samples available of their barbecue.  

All proceeds from this event will benefit The Bend Community Center and Healthy Beginnings, through the Rotary Club of Bend.

 Please join us September 8th, 2007 for a spectacular event at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds.  Gates open at 10:00am with cooking demonstrations until noon; sampling begins at 12:30pm until 4:30 with awards at 5:00pm.
